Accumulations Matter Part II: Handling Unique NDC Scenarios

November 5, 6, or 7, 2024

Purchasing Office Hours

Join us for deeper insights into why accumulations matter and how to handle unique NDC scenarios. This session is a continuation of our September discussion on accumulations and their compliance challenges. The training is tailored specifically for 340B covered entities that currently use split-billing software. Attendance in the previous session is not required to participate.

Educational Objectives:

  1. Understand the complexities involved in maintaining or mapping NDCs in split-billing software
  2. Describe 340B compliance expectations when faced with unique operational situations
  3. Outline how to compliantly handle situations of noncompliance
  4. Identify tools and resources that help maintain 340B compliance throughout the purchasing process

The purpose of Purchasing Office Hours is to provide an overview of key elements regarding both compliance and stewardship in 340B drugs, assign actionable follow-up items to apply at your organization, and facilitate an open Q&A session for you to engage with peers and experienced faculty on operational topics.

Who Should Register: This training is exclusively for 340B covered entities that currently use split-billing software.

Participant Knowledge Level: Intermediate experience/understanding of purchasing 340B drugs

Course concepts are presented in a 20-minute video that participants receive about a week before the session. Participants prepare for the discussion by watching the video and completing the worksheet. The pre-work helps participants think through their operations and bring questions to the discussion group.

Expectations: Participants are expected to view the video prior to the session and come prepared to discuss course concepts and raise questions.

Three Steps to Participate:

Enroll in one of the Office Hours sessions based on your availability.

View the educational video and complete the worksheet before your scheduled Office Hours meeting (video/worksheet will be emailed approximately one week prior to the meeting).

Participate in Office Hours at your scheduled time by asking questions and discussing your experiences with peers.
